Silence
Corin smiled brightly when the pencil and pad of sticky notes was produced. He took them with a light bob of his head and then he began to scribble on the sticky note. He was focusing on his writing, he knew very well that his writing was atrocious but since this was the only way he could communicate.
When he was finished he handed the pad back to the other. On the top note Corin had written a small letter, in his messy handwriting. It read: “Hello, my name is Corin. I am a spy for the BLU team, a pleasure to meet you. Who are you?”
Benji wiped the lenses of his glasses with his shirt end and put them back on his head as the other handed the pad of sticky notes back to him. His eyes lit up as he read what he had written. The handwriting was a tad hard to read, but he was used to reading and much preferred this way of communication over speaking out loud. Corin. He mouthed the syllables slightly to himself and smiled. He was in fact, on the the BLU team, and a spy at that!
Twirling the pencil in his hand, he wrote a response: “My name is Benjamin, but call me Benji. I’m a new pyro for BLU. Nice to meet you too!”
He added a smiley face at the end out of habit and tapped the pencil to his nose, thinking. Quickly, he added: “Is something the matter?”
